• Installation of corrosion prevention and protection systems such as IEV's MGP (Marine Growth Preventor) and Armawrap riser protection system. These are 2 systems that K2 has successfully installed within splash zones. Given the access restrictions, K2 rope access technicians are the obvious choice for such applications.
• Clockspring permanent composite repair system — K2 is an approved applier of the Clockspring system, a composite repair system used to rejuvenate corroded pipes that would otherwise have to be replaced. In many cases, these pipes are located in remote locations that can only be accessed by K2 engineers.
• Blasting and painting — K2 offers qualified and experienced rope access painting teams for remote locations. K2 is the most cost-effective solution for small isolated areas of repair or on specific structures, such as flare tips.
• Hot works — K2 provides experienced and qualified personnel for a range of welding, cutting and grinding work in almost any location.
• Mechanical/Engineering support — provides support to offshore operators and contractors in a variety of situations:
• Flare tip replacement
• Riser clamp removal and replacement
• Spool bracket installation on the side of FPSO
